Marie Oxley MNIMH is a Medical Herbalist, Massage Therapist & Ayurvedic Consultant based on the Dartington estate, near Totnes, Devon.
Marie offers bespoke herbal medicine by consultation, to help with a range of health conditions, and also massage treatments, including Ayurveda massage and deep tissue.
Marie is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and draws upon traditional herbal medicine practices of the British Isles and North America, modern scientific research, and Ayurvedic medicine.
Blood analysis and diagnostic testing is also available at the clinic. Bloods are taken using our partner services in Torquay, Exeter or Plymouth, or using a mobile phlebotomy service that can visit you in your home, and the results are analysed at the Alia Wellbeing clinic. Available tests include thyroid, hormone profiles, digestive, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and immunology and inflammatory marker tests.

Herbal medicine can be taken alongside pharmaceutical medicines, and all herbal prescriptions are cross-referenced with a patient’s pharmaceutical prescription to ensure they are compatible and that there are no interactions.
BODYWORK
A range of massage treatments are available at Alia Wellbeing, including Ayurvedic and Deep Tissue Massage.
Treatments are tailored to each person’s individual needs, and warm oil is always used.
Marie creates all her own herbal oils by infusing herbs into base oils, and uses essential oils in her soothing and unique massage blends.
